The Perils and Land Mines of Municipal Investigations
Original Program Date :
Length: 1 Hour, 1 Minute

This session will cover the legal framework governing municipal employment complaints and investigations, including the complexities of confidentiality in the context of open meetings and open records laws. The speakers will discuss scaling the process to fit the jurisdiction and special issues with elected officials, city councils and boards and commissions. This webinar will also provide tools for working with elected officials and offers some ideas on how to remediate, mitigate and prevent problems in a setting where the respondent in the investigation is not subject to disciplinary process or removal from office.
