Chris Odom, AWI-CH, is employee at Mississippi Power Company as a Compliance and Concerns Coordinator, Sr, where he has conducted internal investigations for fifteen years. Primarily, the investigations have involved alleged misconduct pertaining to Company policies or potential violations of regulatory agencies, including State and Federal law.
Previously, Chris spent eight years in law enforcement and specialized in investigations involving street gangs and narcotics. Chris received his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and his master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. Chris is a certified fraud examiner through ACFE and obtained his Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification through SCCE. Chris stays active in the field of law enforcement and is adjunct instructor in Criminal Justice at Jones College.
