Robert Beard, AWI-CH is employed by Southern Company Services as the Manager, Workplace Ethics & Concerns, where he conducts internal investigations of alleged misconduct by Company employee’s and agents, whether the alleged misconduct is considered unethical, illegal, or a possible violation of the Company’s policies and/or regulations. He has been the lead investigator in over 160 investigations.

Previously, Robert spent 21 years in Federal service, where he conducted internal investigations and served as the Dispute Resolution Manager for the United States Postal Service and more recently, serving as the Supervisory Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Coordinator for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Robert joined AWI in 2019 and earned his AWI-CH designation in 2023.
