Shannon Shrewsbury, AWI-CH is a California employment attorney whose practice focuses on conducting impartial workplace and campus investigations. She regularly conducts complex and sensitive investigations in both the private and public sectors throughout the state. Shannon is an active member of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), and currently serves on the AWI Training Institute Committee. She previously served as Co-Chair of AWI’s Seminars and Webinars Committee, and as a presenter for AWI’s Basics Seminar series. Shannon also serves on the Advisory Committee for Capital Pro Bono, a legal aid nonprofit organization in the Sacramento area. Prior to opening her own investigations practice, Shannon advised and represented public and private employers in a range of labor and employment law matters as both in-house and outside counsel. These included unfair labor practice proceedings, litigation involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination, and corporate compliance issues throughout the United States and Canada. Shannon’s clients have included cities, counties, universities, health systems, and Fortune 100 companies.
