Shelline Bennett is the Managing Partner of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore’s Fresno Office and has represented public agencies, including water agencies, for over 20 years. Her practice includes regularly advising and presenting before governing bodies, including City Counsel, Boards of Supervisors, Trustees, and Commissioners in open and closed session meetings throughout the Central Valley.

Shelline also has an extensive litigation background in both federal and state courts and represents clients in disciplinary appeals, administrative hearings, arbitrations, mediations, investigations, and labor relations and negotiations, including serving as lead negotiator at bargaining tables.  She advises and counsels clients in a wide range of the law, including governance issues, including the Brown Act, Public Records Act, and conflict of interest statutes; risk analysis and avoidance; analyzing legislation; and labor and employment matters.

Shelline was recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer in the years 2004, 2006 and 2008-2015.  She was also chosen as one of the Fresno Magazine's "Employment and Labor Super Lawyers," and named one of the "Top Women Attorneys in Northern California" by San Francisco Magazine. She has served as the Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary/Treasurer for the Litigation Section of the Federal Bar Association.
